Meet Verkeitta Jones, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Verkeitta is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Vera’s Loving Hands, LLC. With extensive experience serving veterans, children, and adults in diverse clinical settings, she is committed to delivering culturally sensitive, evidence-based care that meets people where they are.

Her vision is to weave faith, community, and clinical excellence into mental health practices that empower individuals, strengthen families, and uplift historically underserved communities—including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Veteran populations.

  • MSN with extensive clinical experience across VA Medical Centers in detox, behavioral units, and outpatient BHIP programs

Pastors and community leaders can connect members directly to our practice for therapy or medication management via secure telehealth.

Bridge to Services

We help navigate insurance (Headway), self-pay options (Carepatron), and community supports for housing, food, or crisis stabilization.

Do you offer faith-integrated therapy?

Yes—only when requested by the client. We can incorporate prayer, scripture, or faith-aligned coping skills at your direction. We also provide fully secular care.

Can you speak at our church or community event?

Absolutely. We offer keynotes, workshops, Q&A sessions, and resource tables. Use the contact form to share your event and goals.

How do referrals from pastors or leaders work?

Leaders can share our secure booking links. With the member’s permission, we provide a warm handoff. Client information remains confidential.
